Stepping Out

Today, I posted my very first video of myself on Instagram and TikTok.
It’s a big step and the start of a brand new adventure.

About a year and a half ago, I started looking for ways to combine my two passions: teaching and media. I kept seeing people online who had already found that balance creating inspiring content while staying true to their profession as educators. And every time I thought, “That’s amazing… but not for me.” I didn’t think I’d ever actually take that step.

But a few weeks ago, something shifted. More and more people around me started saying, “Why not? This actually suits you.”
And so, little by little, I developed what I now call my “f*ck it” mentality. Not careless, but a mindset that helps me stop overthinking and just go for it. I’m still working on it, but it’s already helped me open up to new experiences, like this one.

Uploading that first video was honestly terrifying. I felt super vulnerable.
But… the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Of course, I know there will be less kind comments eventually, but that shouldn’t be a reason to hold back.

If there’s one thing I’ve realized lately, it’s this: there are so many people who support you—often more than you’d expect.

So here it is: the beginning of something new. A step outside my comfort zone.
Thanks for being part of it!
